With this project I heavily researched a widely known venue in Leeds, The Duchess of York. The Duchess closed their doors in March of 2000, but I wanted to somehow bring attention to the many amazing memories that were made there.

I did this by finding a Facebook group dedicated to the venue and interviewing anyone who would answer my questions. Using these answers and the many flyers and photos in the group I made a series of experimental collages. I screen printed these alongside one big screen print, badges, and a publication containing all of the memories. Hopefully anyone who found themselves spending their nights in The Duchess throughout the 80's and 90's can look back on their memories with this project. Long Live The Duchess of York!
